What is RetailDirect?
RetailDirect is a B2B ordering platform for the UAE independent grocery trade. A shop browses every one of its suppliers in one catalogue, builds a single basket, and at checkout that basket splits automatically into a separate order for each supplier — each fulfilled, invoiced and delivered on its own terms.
How does one cart become several supplier orders?
You add products from any number of suppliers to one basket. When you check out, RetailDirect creates one order per supplier, so each supplier only sees and fulfils their own lines, with their own payment method and delivery.
How much does RetailDirect cost for a shop?
Marketplace ordering is currently free for shops — there is no subscription charge to browse suppliers and place orders. The point-of-sale module is a paid subscription and includes a 30-day free trial.
Can I order by voice or on WhatsApp?
Yes. You can speak your order in Arabic, English, Hindi or Urdu and RetailDirect builds the cart for you, or order and receive confirmations over WhatsApp. You can also scan a barcode on the shelf to add a product straight to the basket.
How do I pay my suppliers?
Cash on delivery, or on the credit terms a supplier offers you — set per supplier and tracked automatically. RetailDirect does not lend; any credit is extended by the supplier or a licensed financing partner.
Who can register on RetailDirect?
Licensed businesses in the UAE: independent grocery shops and baqalas as buyers, and distributors, wholesalers and manufacturers as sellers. Accounts are verified before activation, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
How long does approval take?
Our team verifies your trade licence and business details, and activation usually completes within 24 to 48 hours of registering.
What is the shop QR code for?
Every shop gets a permanent, unique QR code. Print it once and keep it by the till — anyone in the shop can scan it to open your ordering page instantly, with no searching or typing.
